The second part of the teaching assistant's essay 'Reviewing: The Role of Team Dynamics' highlighted their research which shows that many teachers develop to focus on the small team approach and less on the large group approach.Another teaching assistant in the class spoke about her essay 'Pediatrics and Diabetes: The Theories and Pathways,' which discusses how the medical field has not accepted that there are health care needs related to diabetic issues. Another teaching assistant in the class spoke about her essay 'Pediatrics and Obesity: The Health Care Debate,' which discusses the connection between obesity and health care and how the relationship has not been adequately understood. Lastly, a teaching assistant presented her essay 'Pediatrics and the Burden of Disease,' which discusses the complex relationship between the aging population and diseases, diabetes and obesity.Many of the Teaching Assistants in the class that I taught for a year had written their own essays related to the study of Pediatrics. One has been published and another was working on an Op-Ed article. Others have shared their thoughts with me.
